Sunday 1 July - Workshop smoked fish and meat - SOLD OUT

Will Michell, Head Chef at the Smoko Room will demonstrate how to prepare meat and fish for 

smoking. He will use a charcoal bbq to slowly smoke beef brisket and also show people how to 

use an oven pan and stove top to hot smoke and flavour fish at home without having to use any

specialist equipment. The workshop will also cover building the fire and controlling the heat for

smoking.

IMA Cuisine x Sawmill - Collaboration with Leigh Fisheries

On Thursday the 5th of July we welcome Yael Shochat from IMA Cuisine to the Smoko Room.

Yael and head chef Will Michell will prepare a five course dinner, celebrating local kaimoana

provided by Leigh Fisheries.  

Each course is matched with Sawmill beer (a wine match is also available).
